WINNIPEG – November 8, 2018 – FarmLink and Farm At Hand are proud to announce the return of Grain World at the RBC Convention Centre in Winnipeg on November 13 and 14, 2018. Grain World is Canada’s dominant agricultural outlook conference in technology, innovation and logistics.
This year’s two-day conference will feature a keynote address from Murad Al-Katib, President and CEO of AGT Food & Ingredients on the topic of Canada’s Ag Endowment: A Driver of Canadian Economic Prosperity, as well as presentations from other notable industry influencers including a weather discussion between Thomson Reuters global agricultural columnist, Karen Braun and Bruce Burnett from GLACIER Farm Media.
We’re pushing the boundaries on innovation and technology in agriculture,” says FarmLink and Farm At Hand CEO Mark Lepp. “We’re excited to hear from influential delegates who will shape the future of the industry across the globe.”
Grain World features global panelists and expert speakers in the grain industry who will provide thoughts and opinions on the balance of 2018 as well as projections for next year. Speakers and panel members will dive in and dissect data on more than twelve grain, oilseed and pulse crops. In addition, attendees can expect to hear about trends in logistics, competitor origins, import markets, food trends, weather, innovation and much more.
"We’re having conversations and creating relationships with industry leaders,” says FarmLink Chief Marketing Analyst Neil Townsend. “These experts are discussing market trends that will have an impact on Ag businesses.”
As the grain industry evolves, it is critical to have a forum for those with an interest in the markets. This year's event will take place on November 13 and 14, 2018 at the RBC Convention Centre in Winnipeg. About Grain World:
Previously run by the Canadian Wheat Board and then Wild Oats, Grain World has been Canada’s dominant agricultural outlook conference. The absence of the conference in 2016 left a gap that was felt by the industry; as a result, FarmLink and Farm At Hand revived Grain World in 2017, delivering a conference and tradeshow like no other.
