WINNIPEG – April 3, 2020
Dear Grain World Sponsors, Participants and Supporters,
As you know, business activity and life as we know it changed when the World Health Organization declared the Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak on March 11, 2020.
FarmLink’s analyst team has followed the outbreak’s course from the beginning. We are fully aware of the unprecedented impact this pandemic is having on the economy and the way we live and do business.
Initially, we thought about changing the date of the Grain World Conference and Tradeshow to the spring of 2021. However, as we continue to monitor responses from health authorities and governments, it’s clear the only way to tackle COVID-19 right now is by physical distancing. COVID-19 changes the way people gather, learn and connect around the world.
We have made the difficult decision to postpone Grain World to a date to be determined. A decision made to keep everyone safe and healthy.
While the fall of 2020 and the spring of 2021 seem far away, we start to drive sales activity now – sponsorship packages, tradeshow space, and early bird registrations.
Our goal during this challenging time is to help farmers navigate this unchartered territory. Our shared responsibility lies in the guidance, leadership, and support we provide to the agricultural industry that we all so proudly serve.
We recognize that farmers and industry alike will rely on analysis and relevant, impactful information and outlooks to bounce back from COVID-19. Therefore, our team continues to evaluate the time and format in which we will reschedule a future Grain World Conference.
As organizers, we are grateful for your continued support and loyalty to Grain World, and we look forward to reconnecting with you once we’ve all adapted to the changes forced on us by this unforeseen and challenging situation.
Thank you once again for your expressions of interest.
Stay safe and healthy,
CEO, FarmLink Marketing Solutions Event Director, Grain World Conference
Chairman, Grain World Conference
