Chris began his career in the fertilizer, seed and crop protection industries. His career with John Deere started in 1994 as a Crop Systems Specialist, covering the Dakota’s and Washington/Idaho regions with a production system focus on improving small grain profitability for these northern US small grains markets. He later served as a Territory Manager in North Dakota. Chris transitioned to Precision Farming Group in 1998 and was then promoted to the position of Manager, Cropping Systems Specialists.
In the last 15 years, Chris focused on global product planning for air seeders, drills, planters, cane harvesters, cotton harvesters, combine and front-end equipment. Chris then served as Division Manager, International Marketing, both within the John Deere Seeding Group.
Today, Chris is the Small Grains Production Systems Manager with the focus to bring technology and innovation solutions which deliver yield improvement and reduces cost.
Chris graduated from Ohio State University with a degree in Agricultural Economics and later earned an MBA from the University of Iowa.
