Greg brings more than 25 year of urban planning experience to his role as Director, Planning and Development at the Vancouver Fraser Port Authority. In this role, Greg is responsible for land use planning and strategy development, transportation planning, and oversight of project reviews and permitting. His focus is on sustainable growth and development in Canada’s largest port, supporting Canada’s trade objectives and fulfilling the port’s responsibilities to protect the environment and consider the interests of local communities.
Prior to joining the Port of Vancouver in 2012, Greg held various management and leadership roles at the City of Vancouver, Metro Vancouver, The University Endowment Lands and TransLink, the region’s transportation authority.
Greg is a lifelong Vancouverite, and remains active in the planning profession, serving as Chair of Langara College’s Applied Planning Program Advisory Committee.
