John Buch, Americas Raw Material Manager, is responsible for Roquette’s raw material procurement, trading, and risk management for the Americas Region. He has been managing the regional efforts in regards to financial hedging, physical procurement and origination, country elevator operations at Roquette for five years. Prior to his role in Raw Materials, John had multiple roles in the Finance function for Roquette. Before Roquette, John spent five years working in the petrochemical business for Shell Chemicals. John has his MBA from the University of St. Thomas (Houston, TX), and his BS in Finance and Accounting from the University of Idaho.

Roquette recently announced the construction of a new pea protein processing facility in Portage la Prairie, Manitoba that plans to be operational in 2019.
